We prioritize peer-reviewed original research, official medical organizations and public-health agencies, major health systems, professional education, advocacy organizations, and first-person material, in that order when the claim permits. We link to original papers and official guidance rather than search results.
Different evidence, different labels
Research, organizational policy, advocacy, personal testimony, and our editorial opinion answer different questions. We label them rather than presenting one category as another. External inclusion does not imply that its author endorses this publication.
Disagreement and uncertainty
Disputed findings are described as disputed. We distinguish anatomical facts from contested claims about sensation and sexual outcomes, and population averages from individual experience.
Men’s testimony
Men who report grief or loss belong in the consent discussion. Their testimony is not presented as proof that every circumcised man has the same experience. No quotation, identity, or personal story is fabricated.
